\"Hey, is it going to take much longer...?\"

"Hey, is it going to take much longer...?"

…a trader asked me.

What’s taking so long?

Oh, of course you don’t even know what this is about yet.

Let me explain:

For many years, I’ve been posting on TradingView and other social media platforms.

Along the way, I’ve taught many traders how to:

a) stop getting stopped out so often

b) take advantage of setups with an 80% probability

c) save themselves a lot of frustration and heartache in trading.

I even had a website with courses and coaching once.

But at that time, it was simply too much work especially since I still had my company to run. So I shut it all down again.

Still, my passion for helping other traders and for trading itself remained a big and important part of my life over all these years.

Then recently, I got a PM. Someone asked me point blank:

"Hey, is it going to take much longer until you start offering courses and coaching?"

Naturally, I was surprised. I had sworn off doing that.

But at the same time, I felt something inside me. A quiet voice saying: “Now after all these years the time has come to really go for it.”

And since this feeling in my gut has been nudging me again and again for months, I started looking around to see what it takes today to run a website, a blog, create courses, and share different types of learning material.

Technology has advanced a lot in recent years. These days you can simplify many tasks like image editing or even writing sometimes with the help of AI.

Still it’s a lot of work. Especially in the beginning, when you need to set up all the channels, plan the content and actually create it.

Do I really want to take this on?

Hmmm…

OK, I’ll do it!

Just like that?

"I’ll do it…?"

Yes, exactly!

There are moments in life when you must not kill a strong inner calling by drowning it in endless questions: “What if it goes wrong? Can I do this? How should I do it? What will others think? Do I even have the time?” …and so on.

Sometimes you just have to DO IT!

With heart, with mind, with soul. Commit to a vision so that many can benefit, move forward in their lives, and take a few steps closer to their dreams.

So welcome to HowToChart.com.

By the way, I was once an eager student myself, hungry to absorb knowledge and apply it to my trading.

My mentor and coach was Tim Morge, one of the last students of Alan Andrews the discoverer of Median Lines and creator of the famous “Pitchfork.”

Tim became a professional trader and worked with Amos Hostettler in the CME “pit,” back in the days when traders shouted their orders into the air and waved their hands around. Those were the times…

And from Tim, I was able to learn an incredible amount about trading.

Not just about the Pitchfork, but also about futures contracts, money & risk management, and much more.

Applying the Pitchfork correctly was a huge challenge at first!

Even today, many traders risk choosing the wrong three anchor points for their fork leading to false projections.

Or they pick the wrong type of fork. After all, there’s not just one:

the Standard fork

the Schiff fork

the Modified-Schiff fork

the Inside fork

Oh yes it’s truly a craft you need to learn.

But you know what? It can actually be much simpler than how I learned it back then.

I had to figure out a lot on my own. That was Tim’s way of teaching. He pointed us in the right direction, but we had to find the path ourselves.

Did it take longer that way?

You bet!

But in the end, it was more than worth it. Not least thanks to his partner Shane, whose sessions were unbelievably rich in detail. His contribution to my “training” was also a huge gift, even if I don’t apply everything today the way I did back then.

But that’s exactly what a student should do: keep developing, find their own way, and eventually become a master of their craft. And then, not forget to pass on their knowledge to those who truly want it and are willing to fight for it.

And to make things easier for you than they were for me back then, I created the "ForkTrading Blueprint".

The "ForkTrading Blueprint" is a simple mini course that explains the Pitchfork tool and shows you, step by step, how to apply it and what the famous 80% probability is really about.
